Hi folks. Sorry for the delay since our last posting – we’ve had a some ‘connection problems’ with our Blog page for the last two months (which oddly enough affected the whole blogspot site, but not from Canada it seemed). For this reason we were unable to put up any new posts before we left for our trip abroad. There were plans to do a post while we were away but we just got caught up….well… holidaying! Who would have thought the Canadian Prairies would be that exciting - the wildlife was great, the food was great and more importantly the long-overdue family catchup was great. And more importantly we managed to get in and out without falling for the latest craze in Influenza (although I did get its variant 'Wine-flu' on the plane, which also had me feeling dizzy and tired)
Hopefully though we are back online, so this post is just a quick one to see if we are able to successfully post to the blog from back here in Beijing. It’s also to let you know that we will be resuming normal Blog programming in the coming week as we start to get back into the swing of things (which has been somewhat hindered by unexpected infections and some hopefully exciting business stuff to attend to). We’ll fill you in on our trip to the land of the maple leaf, as well as all of the usual life happenings here in the ‘jing.
